Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping duties
• Prepare and issue invoices, quotations and payment documents
• Record and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process payments, receipts and other accounting transactions
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly account closing
• Maintain proper filing and records of financial documents
• Assist with GST-related documentation and submissions
• Follow up with customers and suppliers on outstanding payments and documents
• Assist with payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks when required
• Support the preparation of reports and schedules for management and external accountants

About you

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Familiar with basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Able to handle confidential financial information responsibly
• Candidates residing around Tampines, Ubi, Bedok or nearby areas are preferred

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
