Accounts Assistant/Executive

About This Role:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented accounting professionals to join our team. Depending on experience and seniority, you will support or manage a portfolio of clients and be involved in day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, audit preparation, and client liaison. This role offers opportunities for growth, learning, and progression within the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining general ledgers
• Prepare full sets of accounts, financial statements, and management reports
• Assist in or manage audit engagements, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with auditors
• Prepare accounting schedules for financial statement and audit purposes
• Handle GST preparation and submission
• Prepare tax computations and related schedules (where applicable)
• Monitor and manage clients’ accounting deadlines to ensure timely delivery
• Process, send, and follow up on invoices, receipts, and payments
• Monitor and schedule vendor payments (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Maintain accurate client records, databases, and documentation
• Digitize and organize accounting documents and correspondence
• Liaise with clients to address accounting and finance-related matters
• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and mentoring (for executive/senior roles)
• Assist in training and supervising Accounts Assistants and Interns (for senior roles)
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate/Professional in Accounting, ACCA preferred
• Graduate with no experience encourage to apply for lower assistant position
• Required language(s): English
• Preferable specialised in Financial Accounting -Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
