Accounts Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accounts Officer Indirect Tax with hands-on experience in GST documentation, e-Invoicing, E-Way Bills, and reconciliation activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance related to domestic, export, interstate, intrastate, job work, and repair & maintenance transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. GST Documentation & Material Movement

Prepare and manage statutory documents related to material movement, including:

Tax Invoices

Delivery Challans

E-Invoices

E-Way Bills (where applicable)

Handle documentation for:

Domestic Sales

Export Sales

Interstate transactions with distinct persons

Intrastate transactions

Job Work material movement

Repair & Maintenance transactions

2. GST Compliance

Prepare and file ITC-04 returns for inward and outward movement of materials under Job Work.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations related to material movement.

3. Reconciliation Activities

Reconcile E-Invoices, Delivery Challans, and E-Way Bills to ensure transaction accuracy.

Reconcile Import Bill of Entry (BOE) bookings with GSTR-2B.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in GST-related records.

4. Compliance & Record Management

Maintain accurate GST documentation and statutory records.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely compliance with indirect tax requirements.

Support audits and provide GST-related documentation as required.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of GST compliance and indirect taxation.

Hands-on experience with E-Invoicing and E-Way Bill processes.

Experience in ITC-04 return filing.

Knowledge of BOE and GSTR-2B reconciliation.

Good understanding of domestic, export, interstate, and intrastate transactions.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial companies will be preferred.
