Assistant Manager - Taxation

Role & responsibilities

• Monthly review of GST Compliance, ISD workings
• Preparation of GST Cross Charge working and actualization of the same at the end of year
• Prepare GST Monthly computation in exceptional circumstances
• Support in collating or preparing historical data as required to respond various types of notice issued by GST Authorities or external consultants
• Support in collating data as required to respond Income tax scrutiny notice
• Monthly review of TDS/TCS Workings
• Support in statutory filings relevant for transfer pricing/ international transactions
• Support in Income Tax statutory filings for Indian/ Global Entity
• Support in preparing data for Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, TDS litigations as required by consultants (Assessments, Scrutiny and verifications)
• Leading the activity of GST Annual Returns filing and coordinate with consultants for filing well before due dates
• Tax liability forecasting on periodic basis for budgeting purposes
• Representation before the Income Tax/ GST/ TDS Authorities as and when required
• Monthly workings for inter group transactions like royalty, cost re-charge etc.
• Computation of Advance Tax, DTA/DTL
• Monthly/Quarterly/ Annual Reconciliation of Tax Balances for management reporting, Balance Sheet Validation and Audit purposes
• Monthly accruals for tax cost
• Quarterly DTA/DTL Calculations
• Coordinate for Filing of 15CA/15CB
• Tax Advisory on routine/complex business transactions
• Support in EL/PO/Invoice Processing for consultants and budgeting of their cost
• Support in other Tax/ International Transactions related activities
• Coordinate with IT for undertaking necessary changes in ERP based on observations or amendments in laws from time to time

Preferred candidate profile

• Handled multiple GST registration compliance and litigation
• SAP S4-HANA would be an added advantage
• Similar industry experience i.e. Mobile / Telecom / FMCG / Consumer Durable industry
• Working Knowledge of Direct Tax
