About the Role

We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a fixed-term basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position plays a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day bill loading and job checking
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
• Payroll processing and PAYE filing
• GST preparation and filing
• Month-end processing and reporting support
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Liaising with external accountants as required

About You

• Proven experience in a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role
• Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (Xero preferred)
• Familiar with New Zealand GST and payroll/PAYE requirements
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Mandarin speaking ability is preferred
