What they need
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing compliance and AML departments. Experience within the Forex and CFD brokerage industry, working with multiple regulators ie, CMA, FSC, FSA, FSCA ets.
- Strong understanding of Forex and CFD brokerage operations, including MT5, leveraged and margin trading, client classification, client-money protection, best execution, trade surveillance, and market-abuse risks.
- Experience in creating T&Cs, KIDs and legal review of vendor contracts and counter contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the CMA and FSC Rulebook, UAE AML/CFT laws and guidance, KYC/EDD requirements, sanctions, and market-conduct standards.
- CISI UAE Financial Rules and Regulations and CISI Compliance certifications are required; ACAMS or ICA certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical judgement, independence, stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to produce clear regulatory reports and correspondence.
- Familiarity with compliance technology platforms, including screening, trade-surveillance, case-management, and regulatory-reporting systems.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
