Finance and Admin Executive

About the role

As a Finance and Admin Executive at WKK Distribution (Singapore) Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and administrative functions. This full-time position, based in the Paya Lebar East Region, will allow you to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry of all Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions into accounting system and Customer Portal System
• Follow up on AR collection, preparing regular calls, letters, emails, statement of account and relevant documents to ensure prompt payment
• Check and verify staff expenses claims
• Handle all payable matters and prepare payments to suppliers and staff
• Prepare month end journal entries and monthly balance sheet schedules
• Reconciliation of bank statements in multiple currencies
• Compilation of GST returns
• Handle inventory document control and prepare monthly sales reports
• Manage control and acquisition of office documents, name cards, stationeries and groceries
• Assist with incoming calls, handle outgoing and incoming mails, and perform filing and clerical duties

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or administrative role, preferably in the accounting field
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant financial and administrative tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to continuously improve processes
• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline would be an advantage
