Head Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• ​Lead and manage the overall accounting department (AP, AR, GL, bank, inventory, fixed assets and costing).
• ​Ensure accurate and timely recording of all accounting transactions.
• ​Oversee bank reconciliations, cash monitoring and working capital reports.
• ​Manage inventory accounting, COGS and landed cost computation for import and distribution operations.
• ​Ensure full compliance with BIR tax regulations, VAT, withholding tax and other statutory requirements.
• ​Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports for management and auditors.
• Implement and improve accounting systems, internal controls and accounting procedures (e.g. QNE or other accounting software).
• ​Manage, develop and guide the accounting team (senior and junior accountants).
• ​Coordinate with external auditors, banks and other stakeholders.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• ​Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related course. (CPA is an advantage but not required)
• ​Must have prior experience as Head of Accounting / Accounting Head.
• ​At least 5 years of total accounting experience, with proven experience leading or managing an Accounting Department.
• ​Experience in trading, import, distribution or a related industry is a strong advantage.
• ​Knowledge of Philippine taxation (BIR), customs-related accounting and financial reporting.
• ​Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QNE, Xero, or similar).
• Strong leadership, supervisory and team management skills.
• ​Detail-orientated, analytical and with good communication skills.
• ​Ability to work independently and provide timely reports to management.

Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
