Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries
• Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents
• Maintain purchase and sales records
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliation
• Maintain petty cash and expense records
• Assist with GST and TDS related accounting and documentation
• Prepare basic reports and MIS as required
• Maintain proper accounting files and documentation
• Assist senior accounts staff with monthly and year-end closing
• Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding accounts and payments
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of assigned tasks

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime
• Knowledge of GST and TDS
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, invoicing and bank reconciliation
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
