Manager - GST

Litigation, Assessment & GST Compliance:

• Handling GST Audit & Assessment initiated by tax department including filing of replies to audit queries and attending personal hearing before adjudicating authorities and co-ordination with consultants.
• Support to Tax Head in handling Tax Litigation and providing all the requisite data on time.
• Ensuring timely and effective tax compliances including timely filing of GSTR 1 & GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & 9C.

Tax Automation & Digitization:

• Developing requisite functionality in SAP systems for accurate and timely compliance & reporting.

Business Support & Advisory:

• Validation of HSN classification & tax rate and providing appropriate guidance to business.
• Provide advice on GST implications for business transactions and new business proposals.
• Monitor changes in GST law and sharing updates with cross functional teams.

Reporting & Controls:

• Develop and implement internal control processes and SOPs for GST.
• Periodical review of Tax positions taken by the Organisation.
• Preparation of monthly MIS and reporting to Tax Head.

Desired Skill and Experience:

• CA having post qualification of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• SAP knowledge is must.
• Good communication- verbal & written.
• In-depth knowledge of GST law, rules, and notifications.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
