Job Summary

We are looking for an OT Technician to support the clinical team with operating theatre preparation and day-to-day theatre activities at our healthcare facility in Hebbal, Bangalore. Candidates with previous hospital or surgical-centre experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre before scheduled procedures.
• Ensure required instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and ready for use.
• Assist doctors and nursing staff during procedures as directed.
• Follow appropriate procedures for sterilization, disinfection, and handling of surgical instruments.
• Check OT equipment and report any issues to the concerned team.
• Maintain proper records related to OT activities, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure instruments and materials are handled safely and systematically.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the OT environment according to established protocols.
• Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, and other support teams for smooth OT operations.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and hospital procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma / degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Hospital or operation theatre experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of surgical instruments, OT procedures, and sterilization practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly and responsibly in a clinical environment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Candidates available to join at short notice are preferred.
