We're looking for a Soft Services Operations Manager to lead all Soft Services operations across a portfolio of GSK pharmaceutical sites throughout the United Kingdom.

The Soft Services Operations Manager is accountable for the strategic and operational leadership of all Soft Services across a portfolio of GSK pharmaceutical sites throughout the United Kingdom. The role will provide oversight, governance, innovation and continuous improvement across all soft service disciplines, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective services that support both GSK business objectives and regulatory requirements.

A key focus of the role will be driving operational excellence, service innovation, productivity improvement and sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of GMP/GxP compliance. Particular emphasis will be placed on the management and continual enhancement of pest control programmes, considered a critical compliance and business protection service across the portfolio.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all Soft Services, ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance and achievement of contractual KPIs across the UK portfolio.
• Lead service transformation, innovation and continuous improvement programmes to enhance productivity, customer experience, operational performance and cost efficiency.
• Act as the UK lead for Pest Control, managing governance, risk, compliance, audits, CAPAs and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes across regulated pharmaceutical environments.
• Ensure all services remain audit-ready and fully compliant with GMP, GDP, GxP and Quality Management System requirements, supporting regulatory inspections and client audits.

Required Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or other highly regulated environments, with responsibility for multi-site Soft Services operations.
• Proven experience managing GMP/GxP cleaning operations, pest control programmes, large operational teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, GxP requirements, Quality Management Systems, pharmaceutical audit processes and Facilities Management best practice
• Relevant qualifications such as IWFM Level 5+, NEBOSH General Certificate, Lean Six Sigma, a degree in Facilities Management, Business Management or a related discipline, or a recognised Pest Control qualification (BPCA/RSPH or equivalent).
