Sr. Accountant

Location : Hadapsar, Pune

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, import-export transactions, customs documentation, LC, BG, foreign currency transactions, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities.
• Handle import and export accounting and related documentation.
• Account for customs duties, freight, clearing charges, and other import/export expenses.
• Maintain warehouse accounts, inventory records, stock reconciliation, and inventory controls.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, inventory, and ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, statutory audits, and other regulatory requirements.
• Handle accounting related to Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), customs documentation, and foreign currency transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and other finance-related activities.
• Guide and supervise junior accounting team members, where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in a trading company is preferred.
• Mandatory experience in import-export accounting.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse accounting and inventory management.
• Experience in stock reconciliation and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and audits.
• Experience with LC, BG, customs documentation, and foreign currency transactions.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software.
• Good understanding of financial reporting, MIS, and closing processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Team-handling experience will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
