Support Services Analyst

Brief Description JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Support Services Analyst primary job function is to assist our claims agent in the preparation of filing claims and the interpretation of the explanation of Benefits/Advice of Payment received. The Support Services Analyst will work with our government insured loan portfolio.

Essential Functions

• Gather and prepare pay history, loan comments, invoices, proof of payments, and other documentation, from our servicing system, or prior servicer. as may be required to file a claim
• Access appropriate data systems to input and extract data as needed
• Reviews and interpret reports
• Perform Loss Analysis interpretation and reporting
• Communicate with investors through email and phone
• Document and maintain policies and procedures
• Responsible for meeting GSE regulatory requirements and following internal policies

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, & Outlook
• Knowledge in Excel related to formulas, formatting, and data sort
• Mortgage banking, preferred
• GSE experience, preferred
