Job Description Tally Accountant / Accounts Executive

Position: Tally Accountant / Accounts Executive
Location: Krishna Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli, Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Fresher to 2 years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal vouchers.
• Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments/receivables.
• Assist in preparation and checking of GST-related data and reports.
• Handle invoices, bills, debit/credit notes and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with TDS, GST, e-invoicing and e-way bill related work.
• Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports using MS Excel.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and clients regarding accounts-related matters.
• Support the senior accountant/management in monthly closing and other accounting activities.

Required Skills:

• Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime.
• Basic knowledge of GST and Indian accounting practices.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Understanding of debit/credit, ledger, journal, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.
• Good numerical and analytical ability.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred:

• Experience with GST filing/data preparation.
• Knowledge of TDS.
• Knowledge of payroll accounting.
• Experience with bank reconciliation.
• Candidates who have completed a Tally + GST + Advanced Excel course will be preferred.
