Field Service Engineer

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will perform site surveys, pre-installation, and installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools for customers locally and internationally. You will provide high level technical support to external customers at their location and on-site training to customers. You will interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.

Key responsibilities

• Performs site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools for customers locally and internationally
• Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location
• Provide on-site training to customers
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales
• Develop Service technical documentation
• Create, develop, and continuously improve the customer support & applications knowledge database
• Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service
• Performs basic applications support of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools for customers both domestic and international
• Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
• Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions

About you

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering or physical sciences
• 3 - 8 years of relevant Semiconductor industry experience, preferably metrology products and with hands on instrument experiences
• Experienced with AAFM, AFM, X-ray and Optical profiler service experience or background in Technical Support preferred
• Working knowledge and ability to test and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical analog and factory Automation
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Salesforce/SAP
• Flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
• Up to 50% traveling required within Southeast Asia
