Job Title: ASME Welder

Tenure: Full-Time, Ongoing

Location: Stoney Creek, ON

Pay Rate: $23.00–$30.00/hour

Shift: Morning (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) during the training period, followed by Afternoon (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM) on an ongoing basis.

We are hiring an experienced ASME Welder for a full-time, long-term opportunity in Stoney Creek, ON.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASME welding following WPS and quality standards.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel using MIG and TIG.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Inspect completed welds for quality.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ASME welding experience.
• Experience with SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and TIG welding.
• Must be able to pass an ASME weld test (open root horizontal plate or 5G/6G pipe).
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with pressure vessels or pressure piping is an asset.
• SAW, Air Arc, and stainless steel or nickel alloy welding experience are assets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
