Role & responsibilities

Maintain & control in-process shop QC activities & outsource fabrication

Key Deliverables

In-process QC inspection to confirm the product quality as per client requirements

Maintaining inspection log book and reports

Final inspection before proceeding to next operation

Interacting with third party quality surveyors for on-time QC clearance

Required Skills & Experience

QC inspection experience for various IS grade materials

Knowledge about various IS material standards/specifications

Knowledge about various welding processes

Capability for preparation of WPS, PQR and WPQ with the help of seniors

Identification of various welding defects and rectification methodology

Analysis of customer complaints and action on it

Maintain all IMS documentation and keep up-to-date records

Online/In-process shop QC inspection in Second Shift

Maintain daily QC reports and records

Close interaction with shop supervisors and workmen

Maintain outsourced fabricator QC activities as per IGPL norms

Must Have Competencies

Good communication skills

Computer competency to prepare inspection report and data presentation skills

Should have knowledge about shop safe work practices

Teamwork competencies
