WSG Energy Services is seeking experienced Hydrotest Technicians to join our team on the Kent Future Fuels Project at Ampol Refinery, Lytton (Brisbane).
 
This is an opportunity to work on a major project with a company that has built its reputation on delivering safe, high-quality services across the Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Mining and Heavy Industrial sectors.
 
Project Details
Location: Ampol Refinery, Lytton, Brisbane
Start Date: Immediate
Preference: Brisbane-based candidates
 
Hydrotest Technician Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience conducting hydrostatic pressure testing to ASME B31.3
• Competency in system preparation, pressurisation and hydrotest execution
• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings & P&ID's
• Experience completing QA/QC and test documentation
• Familiarity with hydrotest pumps, gauges and pressure testing equipment
• Understanding of equipment calibration requirements
• Previous shutdown, commissioning or construction experience highly regarded

Requirements:

• White Card - Mandatory
• Police clearance - Mandatory
• Pre-employment medical - Mandatory
• Mechanical Fitter Trade Cert - preferred
• Working at Heights - preferred
• Australian Driver's Licence - preferred

Desirable Experience

• Air blowing
• Nitrogen/Helium leak testing
• Mechanical fitting experience
• Previous supervisory experience

Rates
Hydrotest Technician: $65/hr
Supervisory Positions: $75-$80/hr (depending on experience)
