Loan Operations Specialist

Acuity Analytics is seeking an exceptional Loan Operations Associate to join our team! The position requires a detail-oriented and proactive, individual who is comfortable performing a variety of operational functions.

As a Loan Operations Associate in Acuity Analytics, some of your main responsibilities will be to:

• Overnight cash balancing across specified funds between WSO and Custodian using the format provided by Client Ops team, with Ops team working to resolve cash variances.
• Posting of non-agented activities in WSO i.e., interest rates rollover, principal amortization, spread changes etc., for deals assigned by Ops team.
• Providing the report of all the activities posted in WSO for Ops team review to ensure accuracy.
• Quarterly review of specified agented deals based on underlying legal documents vs. actual billing. Verifying that calculations are accurate, fair, and compliant with all the agreed-upon terms.
• Position reconciliation between WSO, Custodian and Fund Admin for position, accrual, etc. reconciliation to AlterDomus.
• New assets and issuer setup in WSO.
• Trade booking and allocation for new and existing assets.
• Update WSO with relevant changes to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the custodian and other stakeholders to resolve any data mismatches.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks mutually agreed from time to time.

Your essential experience and knowledge:

1. Basic understanding of Loan Operations, Agency/Participant loan servicing, Deal Booking, Loan Trading, MS Excel, Loan IQ.
2. Qualified bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, or MBA, or an equivalent degree.
3. Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with various stake holders.
4. Ability to multi-task independently under tight timelines and eye for details.
5. 1- 5 year’s relevant experience in the field of Credit analysis, Finance and Loan Operations.
6. Knowledge in WSO (Desirable).
7. Strong knowledge in Cash Reconciliation.
