The Position
To provide AlburyCity with effective, customer focused regulatory services based on a broad understanding of NSW Legislation and AlburyCity Policy.

Tasks and responsibilities

• To initiate and carryout compliance and enforcement procedures including the issue of Infringements, Notices and Orders where necessary in accordance with NSW legislation and AlburyCity Policies.
• To remain knowledgeable In applicable legislation and regulation.
• To provide regulatory and inspectorial services to ensure legislative compliance.
• Car Parking Control
• Stock and Animal Control
• Public Land
• Environemnt
• Plannig and Development

Qualifications and experience

• Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent relevant industry experience
• Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain)
• The requirement to respond to and attend the Albury local government area within a reasonable time when rostered on call.
• Strong relevant experience in a regulatory role and understanding of regulatory practices in Local Governmen

Hours
Based on a 38-hour week, hours of work are in accordance with a seven day a week rotating roster. This roster may be altered in order to meet changing operational needs and service demands.
