SENIOR HSE COORDINATOR

• Address areas of non-conformance to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards through corrective actions.
• To follow the requirement and standards set as per Occupational Safety Health Act (JKKP)/DOSH, NIOSH & Environmental Quality Act JAS/DOE.
• To complete Incident/Accident Form within 48hrs upon receiving the incident/accident information from the respective department with proper investigation and supporting documents and photos.
• Analyze areas of non-conformance to WSH standards to determine reasons for non-conformance, therefore working closely with ISO Document Controller on CAR in compliance with ISO9001:2015 & 14001:2015.
• Analyze how different approaches may impact the problem-solving outcomes.
• Conduct learning activities to enhance WSH standards and practices.
• Develop an action plan based on the best solutions identified during WSH solutioning discussions.
• Develop corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations.
• Develop measures to enhance organizational awareness of environmental protection.
• Exercising air and noise pollution certification and renewal with the relevant bodies.
• Develop novel approaches to solve problems that are complex in nature.
• Drive WSH activities to ensure department compliance with requirements.
• Evaluate risk factors that impact efficiency.
• Facilitate discussions on WSH reports and findings.
• Formulate WSH solutions based on analysis of WSH reports.
• Formulate safety health policies, safety health procedures, environmental protection policies and environmental procedures.
• Implement safety health policies, safety health procedures, environmental protection policies and environmental procedures.
• Require regular inspection of Foreign Worker's Hostel based on Health Safety Environment compliance (JTK, Municipal) and hostel licensing application.
• Optimize the use of allocated resources within business activities.
• To be active in Safety & Health Committee, where thrive towards its compliances as per the relevant legislation and procedures.
• To renew JKKP license yearly.
• Review different aspects of project management based on priorities and needs.
• Review environmentally friendly trends in the industry for implementation.
• To plan yearly budget for execution of Training in relation to HSE.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Equivalent or other related qualifications.
• Min 3 years working experience as a safety personnel.
• Excellent knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA) and procedures
• Experience in writing reports and policies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics when required.
• Possess valid driving license and willing to travel
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
