Agathos AEC Inc

About the Company
Agathos AEC is a platform company building an integrated group of best-in-class architecture and engineering firms. Our mission is Architecture and Engineering: Designed and Delivered. We provide the shared infrastructure (finance, HR, IT, legal) so our firms can focus on clients and projects.
The platform currently includes Plump Engineering, JMPE Electrical Engineering, Peterson Engineering, and Tecton Architects. Putting every firm on one ERP is central to how we operate.
Our values:

we do what's right for our clients;

we move with urgency but never compromise on safety or quality;

we are responsive, self-reflective, and responsible;

and we invest in our employees.

About the Role
Agathos AEC, Inc. is hiring its first in-house Deltek Vantagepoint Administrator to take over the platform from our third-party implementation firm and own it across every operating company. You will be the single internal expert on how Vantagepoint is configured, secured, reported on, and taught. You will complete the rollout across our operating companies, lead implementation for firms still to come, and make Vantagepoint our enterprise data source of record, so management gets real-time reporting through AI-enabled dashboards and processes.
Responsibilities
Own the platform

Take over Vantagepoint administration and configuration from our implementation partner, and manage that partner and Deltek support through the handoff.

Maintain the system across Financials, Billing, AP, Resource Management, Project Management, and CRM.

Test and roll out Deltek releases and updates, and keep leadership informed of what is coming.

Implement and train

Lead implementation for firms still moving onto Vantagepoint.

Complete and stabilize the rollout across our operating companies.

Build and deliver role-based training and documentation for project managers, accounting staff, principals, and administrators at every firm.

Serve as the first line of support for users, and track recurring issues to fix root causes.

Make Vantagepoint our source of record and power real-time reporting

Make Vantagepoint the enterprise source of record for financial, project, resource, and client data, so every firm and the platform report from one set of numbers.

Work with the CEO and CFO on how Deltek's native AI tools (Della) and our own Claude connection to Vantagepoint should change how we report and analyze.

Deliver real-time management reporting through AI-enabled dashboards and processes covering backlog, utilization, project performance, billing, and cash, replacing manual reports and spreadsheets.

Manage data and acquisitions

Plan and run the data migration, mapping, and clean-up for each acquired firm, including chart of accounts, clients, projects, and employee data.

Run recurring data-integrity checks and fix issues before they reach month-end close.

Keep firm data and access properly separated while supporting consolidated platform reporting.

Secure and control

Manage security roles and user access, and audit them on a regular schedule.

Work with the Controller on approval workflows, segregation of duties, and audit-ready system controls.

Gather requirements from stakeholders, then design, test, and implement changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience administering or configuring Deltek Vantagepoint (Vision-only experience does not meet this requirement).

Experience working in an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) firm.

Active, daily use of AI tools in your own work. You understand that writing code is now a commodity, and that the value is in knowing what to build, how to direct AI, and whether the answer is right.

A working command of project accounting: project setup, billing, AP, time and expense, revenue recognition, and month-end close.

Strong reporting skills, including Vantagepoint dashboards and reports and advanced Excel.

Experience with data imports, clean-up, and migration between systems.

Proven ability to train non-technical users and write clear documentation.

Preferred Skills

Experience taking over or supporting an ERP implementation, or onboarding acquired companies.

Familiarity with APIs and AI connections to business systems (such as MCP). Coding skills such as SQL or Python are a plus, not a requirement.

Experience with Resource Management, CRM, and workflows in Vantagepoint.

Deltek certifications.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 base
