Estimation Manager

Role Description The Estimation Manager at E&F educação is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing cost estimation and budgeting activities for educational projects and services. This role includes analyzing project requirements, gathering technical and financial data, and preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals. The Estimation Manager collaborates with project managers, academic coordinators, and finance teams to align estimates with organizational goals and resource constraints. Day-to-day tasks involve reviewing documentation, updating estimation models, monitoring variances between projected and actual costs, and recommending adjustments to improve forecasting accuracy. The role also includes maintaining estimation tools and databases, contributing to process improvements, and providing clear, data-based insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for projects or services.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, estimation software, and basic data management tools.
• Ability to interpret project documentation, scope definitions, and technical or operational requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present estimates and assumptions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a part-time capacity.
• Experience working remotely, with a high degree of reliability, self-direction, and collaboration in virtual environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in education, training services, or professional services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic project management principles and tools is beneficial.
