Job Purpose Senior Hydraulic System engineer working on development of hydraulic systems for agricultural products produced in LATAM. Development life cycle is from initial design through product support in the field. Product lines include combine, sugar cane harvester and potentially other products.

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic system circuit design, sizing, layout and analysis.
• Creation of hydraulic component specifications for supplier market tests.
• Creation of validation plans, definition of hydraulic test methods and analysis of test data to ensure robust and accurate performance of hydraulic system designs.
• Working closely with suppliers and cross functional teams on resolution of quality and reliability issues.
• Definition and creation of hydraulic circuits and schematics.
• Typical activities include selection and sizing of components, circuit design, layout of hydraulic systems, project planning, cost evaluations, test planning, directing and making accurate release of system documentation, bill of materials and drawings.
• Communication and teamwork skills must be excellent as this role interfaces closely with a global team.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant hydraulic design experience or similar preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile equipment and agriculture or construction industries
• Experience with CREO/Teamcenter.
• Ability to travel domestically (up to 30%)
