• Our client is supporting a leading organization in the advisory services industry on a major SharePoint modernization initiative. The engagement offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint architecture while providing technical leadership across a complex hybrid environment.

Location

• Remote in the US; EST working hours

Role Type

• 6-month contract with potential extension

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of SharePoint architecture and development experience across SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2013/2016/2019, including hybrid environments
• Strong hands-on SharePoint development expertise with PnP PowerShell, SPFx, REST APIs, and enterprise PowerShell automation
• Strong Microsoft Azure automation experience, specifically Azure Logic Apps and Azure Automation/Runbooks, along with Microsoft Graph API
• Enterprise SharePoint architecture and modernization experience, including migrations, upgrades, Microsoft 365 integrations, governance, security, and scalable solution design
• Technical leadership skills, including translating stakeholder requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and mentoring junior developers

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Architect and implement scalable SharePoint Online and On-Premises solutions across enterprise environments
• Develop and maintain custom SharePoint components using PnP PowerShell, SPFx, and related technologies
• Automate business processes using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Azure Runbooks, and enterprise PowerShell
• Lead SharePoint migrations, upgrades, modernization efforts, and Microsoft 365 integrations
• Integrate SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API
• Translate stakeholder and business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Establish and maintain SharePoint governance, security standards, and development best practices
• Troubleshoot complex SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and automation issues
• Support CI/CD and DevOps practices for SharePoint and Azure deployments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
• Potentially participate in a planned SharePoint Modernization Services initiative and provide ongoing support following its completion
• U.S. citizenship is required
