Sharepoint Migration Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support the migration of content and data from SharePoint 2016/2019 (on-premises) to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). SharePoint training will be provided, where necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Populate content from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online
• Migrate documents, lists, and libraries from SharePoint 2016/2019 to SharePoint Online
• Validate migrated content for accuracy, completeness, and structure
• Maintain folder structures, metadata, and permissions during migration
• Perform post-migration checks and rectification to ensure no data loss or corruption
• Identify, flag and resolve missing files, broken links, or inconsistencies
• Work with and keep internal team leads updated on all project matters

About you

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
• Basic HTML Knowledge
• Good problem solving skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently

Added advantage

• 1-2 years working experience in content management and front end development
• Exposure to SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Prem and familiarity with SharePoint (basic navigation)

This is a 1 year contract (renewable)
