About Us

GJJTW Machinery supplies, rents and maintains construction hoists, tower cranes and gondolas for building projects across the UAE. We run our finance and operations on Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory, with clear written procedures and an AI assistant to support daily work.

The Role

You will run our day-to-day accounting and keep our Zoho-based processes running correctly. Every task has a written procedure; you follow it accurately, keep records complete, and escalate anything outside the procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Create sales orders from approved quotations in Zoho Books, with the customer LPO, payment terms and business type tags.
• Maintain the payment milestone schedule for each order: record milestones, issue proforma invoices, issue tax invoices when cheques are ready, and record payments.
• Record purchase receipts with serial numbers, enter supplier bills and expenses against projects, and allocate freight and customs costs.
• Record inventory adjustments and support monthly stock counts.
• Run month-start and month-end checklists: document numbering, project profitability, uninvoiced deliveries, unshipped orders, overdue milestones.
• Maintain our Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory processes: document numbering, item master, written procedures and checklists; report gaps or errors to the Finance Manager.
• Prepare documents for VAT filing and for our external accountant's monthly review.
• Send a weekly status report to the Finance Manager and the Managing Director.

Requirements

• Female candidates only.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or commerce.
• 2–3 years of finance or accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in trading, equipment or construction.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (invoices, bills, payments, projects). Zoho Inventory is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Good written and spoken English; confident with Excel.
• Careful and organised: you follow procedures exactly and keep records complete.
• Persistent in following up with colleagues until a task is closed.

Nice to Have

• ACCA or CMA studies in progress.
• Experience with import documentation, customs and landed cost.
• Enthusiastic about using AI tools (such as AI assistants and knowledge bases) in daily work.
