Job Vacancy – Junior Accountant

Location: Al Aweer Fruit & Vegetable Market, Dubai

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in Zoho Books, which is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journal entries, and general bookkeeping.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in Zoho Books.
• Prepare customer invoices, supplier bills, payment vouchers, receipts, credit notes, and maintain proper accounting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations, customer and supplier reconciliations, petty cash reconciliation, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements, Balance Sheets, Trial Balance, General Ledger, and other financial statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts.
• Maintain inventory-related accounting records and ensure accurate stock and cost entries in Zoho Books.
• Generate financial and management reports from Zoho Books and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, VAT requirements, and proper filing of all financial records.
• Mandatory: Candidates must have strong practical experience in Zoho Books and be capable of independently preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliations, and month-end/year-end accounts.

Preferred Candidate

• Female candidates are preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is an added advantage).
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Al Aweer Fruit & Vegetable Market, Dubai.

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
