CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Summary
Morlando Crane, Inc. is seeking a professional CDL Class A Truck Driver. Knowledge and experience with mobile hydraulic crane assembly is preferred but not required. This is a full time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties

• Transport crane counterweights and components in a safe and professional manner
• Perform physically demanding work such as crane assembly/disassembly and rigging
• Safely haul heavy equipment to and from jobsites as needed
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken

Skills

• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles proficiently
• Must have a Class A CDL with an acceptable MVR
• Must have a current medical examiner's card
• Must have the ability to strap and chain heavy equipment
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery in conditions with changes in temperature and humidity
• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and delivery processes
• Excellent navigation skills with a good understanding of local routes and traffic patterns
• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
