Electrical Field Technician (HV/MV)

Paralos Energy , a well-established energy projects construction and services company, is seeking to recruit an Electrical Field Technician (HV/MV) to join the Service Department and support the operation, maintenance and repair of substations, control buildings and Medium Voltage installations across our projects.

Role description:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of MV/HV electrical equipment and substations.
• Carry out field inspections, functional checks and routine testing of electrical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting and fault identification on MV/HV installations and associated equipment.
• Perform electrical works, equipment replacement, repairs and maintenance activities according to approved procedures.
• Assist with commissioning, energization and maintenance activities at substations and renewable energy projects.
• Support the Field Engineer during technical interventions and troubleshooting activities.
• Follow LOTO, electrical safety and HSE procedures always.
• Prepare basic service and maintenance reports, recording findings, measurements, interventions and materials used.
• Travel to project sites across Central and Southern Greece, depending on operational requirements.
• Participate in on-call and emergency response during weekends and holidays.
• Report to area supervisor and indirectly to field engineer.

Skills and Competences:

• Technical diploma / degree in Electrical field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical installations.
• Experience in MV switching and electrical safety procedures will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel and work in the field.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
• Knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
