What they need
Experience: 5+ years of professional backend/full-stack development.
Java: Expert-level Java 17/21, including modern Java features, concurrency, collections, streams, JVM fundamentals, and clean coding practices.
Spring Boot: Strong hands-on experience with:
- Spring MVC
- Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
- Spring Security
- REST API development
Microservices: Experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed microservices, including service-to-service communication, resilience, observability, and scalability.
Architecture & Design: Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, common design patterns, domain-driven design, layered/hexagonal architecture, distributed systems, and scalability.
Databases/SQL: Strong SQL and relational database expertise, particularly:
- Schema and database design
- Complex queries
- Indexing
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Transactions and concurrency
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar
