Regional Technical Services Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with hotel owners/developers, project consultants, contractors, and BWH Hotels Operations to ensure hotel projects are delivered in accordance with BWH Hotels Brand standards, operational requirements, approved budgets, and project schedules.
2. Provide technical oversight and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing consultant and contractor submissions to ensure technical completeness, constructability, regulatory compliance, operational functionality, and alignment with BWH Hotels requirements.
3. Manage and monitor hotel construction, renovation, conversion, and refurbishment projects, with particular focus on quality, schedule, cost awareness, contractor performance, and timely resolution of technical issues.
4. Participate in project coordination meetings, site meetings, and technical workshops as required, working closely with BWH Hotels Area Specialists, Operations, consultants, contractors, and the Architecture, Design & Construction Team.
5. Monitor project implementation to ensure approved plans, specifications, Brand standards, and technical requirements are properly executed on site, identifying deviations and coordinating appropriate corrective actions.
6. Support the preparation and review of project briefs, technical requirements, scopes of work, and project deliverables in coordination with Brand, Operations, and relevant stakeholders.
7. Work with architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and Operations to identify practical and cost-effective technical solutions while maintaining BWH Hotels Brand and operational standards.
8. Conduct technical inspections and assessments of existing and in-progress hotels being considered for acquisition, conversion, renovation, or takeover by BWH Hotels. Prepare Property Improvement Plans (PIPs) identifying required repairs, modifications, upgrades, and capital improvements necessary to achieve Brand and operational compliance.
9. On all projects, participate on the process of commissioning with all the Design Consultants & Contractors and ensure that all deficiencies are corrected prior to project handover to Operation.

Qualifications:

• Thai Candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years minimum experience with international hospitality chains, preferably in hotel design, development, renovation, construction, or project management.
• Currently holding position as Technical Services Manager, Project Manager, Chief Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design principles, construction processes, and hotel Brand standards.
• Experience in reviewing architectural drawings, design documentation, specifications, and project plans.
• Experience with hotel renovation, rebranding, Property Improvement Plans (P.I.P.), commissioning, and project handover is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English is a must.
• Analytical, initiative, dynamic and attentive to detail.
• Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with developers/owners, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and hotel operations teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel for site inspections, design meetings, and project reviews as required.
