In this exciting role, you will lead the development, configuration, and delivery of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism, helping to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver better business outcomes across the Force. You will act as a subject matter expert, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and deliver innovative technical solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable RPA solutions across the organisation.
- Working with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
- Building and supporting automation projects through development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, test cases, and solution designs to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Developing integrations between systems and providing technical expertise on complex application development activities.
- Monitoring and supporting the RPA platform, investigating issues, resolving technical queries, and ensuring service reliability.
- Ensuring all automations comply with security, information management, and legislative requirements.
Why This Role Matters
This role plays a key part in driving digital transformation across Lincolnshire Police. By developing innovative automation solutions, you will help reduce manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable colleagues across the Force to focus on delivering vital services to the public. Your expertise will directly contribute to modernising technology and improving organisational effectiveness.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET/VB.NET, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance to a range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and delivering excellent customer service.
