SAP BW Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Lead to drive the support, enhancement,

optimization, and governance of the SAP BW/BI landscape for Signify's global AMS

engagement. The candidate will lead a team of BW consultants, collaborate with business

stakeholders, and ensure stable operations across SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics

Cloud (SAC), Business Objects (BO), and SAP HANA-based reporting solutions. The role

involves incident management, problem resolution, service improvements, and delivery of

new reporting and analytics requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP BW AMS operations, enhancement delivery, and support activities.

Manage L2/L3 incidents, service requests, problem management, and change requests.

Design and develop data models, InfoProviders, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and

Queries.

Work with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BO, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Perform performance tuning and optimization of BW data loads and reporting solutions.

Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.

Review technical designs, development artifacts, and transport management activities.

Lead offshore support teams and ensure SLA adherence.

Support release management, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Prepare solution documentation, KT materials, and operational runbooks.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities within AMS.

Required Skills

Mandatory

10+ years of SAP BW experience.

Strong expertise in SAP BW 7.x and BW/4HANA.

Hands-on experience with:

Open ODS Views

InfoObjects

Transformations

DTPs

Process Chains

Strong SAP HANA modeling knowledge.

Experience with SAP Business Objects (BOBJ).

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Knowledge of ABAP debugging in BW environment.

Strong AMS support and incident management experience.

Experience managing customer-facing engagements.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

SAP BW/4HANA Certification.

SAP SAC Certification.

Experience with SAP BODS/Data Services.

Exposure to S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.

ITIL Foundation Certification.

Experience in global manufacturing organizations.
