Senior Electrical Engineer - Electrical Manufacturing - BKK (ID: 710495)

Working Time: 8:00 - 17:00

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate sale construction activities for MV/HV Substation project to ensure compliance with project specifications approved drawing, quality standards, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review IFC drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITP), shop drawings, and technical submittals before site implementation.
• Monitor construction progress, identify technical issues, and provide timely engineering solutions to minimize project delays.
• Supervise installation of GIS/AIS Power Transformers, MV Switchgear, Protection & Control Systems, AC/DC Systems, Cable Works, Earthing, and Lightning Protection Systems.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with all stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, engineering reports and site documentation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineer or related engineering field

• At least 5-10 years of experience in EPC construction of MV/HV Substation (22kV-115kV), Power Plant, Industrial Plant or Data Center Projects.

• Strong knowledge of GIS/AIS, Power Transformer, Protection & Control, SCADA Interface, AC/DC Systems, Cabie Installation, Earthing and Lightning Protection.

• Able to read and interpret SLD, Protection & Control Schematics, IFC Drawings, and Electrical Layouts

• Good understanding of IEC, IEEE, PEA, MEA, and EGAT standards.

• Good command in spoken and written English.

• Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical Facilities or Utility Substation projects will be an advantage

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Method Statement, and HSE requirements

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for on-site engineering issues, and management skills

• Able to perform technical reviews, resolve engineering issues, and provide site engineering support during construction and commissioning

• Have a professional engineering license and driving license

• Can work up-country and can drive car.
