Barista

About the role

Barista position at Doi Chaang Caffe, located in Circle Condominium. The role involves brewing and serving coffee and beverages according to Doi Chaang standards using the café's espresso machine, operating the POS system, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining presentation standards for bakery and cakes. Work is scheduled on a rotating shift basis, with opening shifts starting at 06:00 and closing shifts as assigned, with one day off per week.

Key responsibilities

• Brew and serve coffee and beverages according to Doi Chaang formulas and standards using the espresso machine
• Take orders and operate the POS system correctly
• Handle cash and card payments
• Arrange and display bakery and cakes to presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter, equipment, and seating areas throughout the shift
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures strictly
• Check stock levels each shift and notify management when items are running low
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service according to ANQA premium brand standards
• Work assigned opening or closing shifts on a rotating schedule
• Work as a team and assist colleagues during busy periods

About you

• Experience as a barista or in food and beverage service (candidates without experience but with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will be considered)
• Able to work early morning shifts (opening shift starting 06:00 on a rotating schedule) and stand for extended periods
• Punctual, reliable, and good personality
• Food safety and hygiene certificate (or willing to complete training before opening day)
