L3 Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced L3 Security Engineer to provide advanced-level support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administration of enterprise security infrastructure. The role will be responsible for handling complex security incidents, performing root-cause analysis, implementing security solutions, and ensuring the security, availability, and performance of the organization’s IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L3-level technical support for complex cybersecurity and network security incidents.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and manage enterprise security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, WAF, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, alerts, and potential threats.
• Perform detailed root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for recurring security issues.
• Configure and administer security devices and technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or equivalent platforms.
• Analyze firewall rules, traffic logs, security events, and network traffic to identify suspicious or malicious activity.
• Support incident response, threat investigation, and security remediation activities.
• Manage and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
• Work closely with SOC, Network, System, Cloud, and Application teams to resolve security-related issues.
• Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential security risks.
• Support vulnerability management, patching, hardening, and security compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain security policies, configurations, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and recommend improvements to the existing security infrastructure.
• Support implementation and integration of new security tools and technologies.
• Analyze SIEM alerts and security logs and coordinate with SOC teams for incident investigation and response.
• Participate in security audits, penetration testing remediation, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Require L3 level candidates with 13+ yrs of hands-on experience and DEEP TROUBLESHOOTING in engineering, hardening, architecture support, policy review/design, complex troubleshooting, DR support, governance inputs.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Deep Trouble Shooting: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Palo Alto Certification (Required)
