Mechanical Engineer, PE

A local consulting firm that specializes in government work needs a Lead mechanical engineer with their PE license

• Design HVAC/Mechanical systems for various commercial buildings from schematic to construction administration.
• Supervise or produce mechanical construction drawing sets in CAD, from floor plans and diagrams to schedules and details.
• Perform energy audits, energy modeling and load calculations as part of various energy programs.
• Interface directly with the client and coordinate with other disciplines inside the office.
• Compare contractor shop drawings to project documents, i.e. mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment selections.
• Must be a US citizen
