Program Coordinator

Position: Program Coordinator

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Duration: 3 months (possible extension or contract-to-hire)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM ET

Role Summary:

Support the Ascend NY and CU Grow programs through program coordination, stakeholder engagement, event management, communications, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily program operations, schedules, and participant records.
• Manage stakeholder communications and business relationships.
• Organize meetings, workshops, and networking events.
• Prepare reports, presentations, meeting notes, and updates.
• Track participant engagement, program metrics, and outcomes.
• Support procurement activities and supplier development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of relevant coordination or project management experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience managing meetings, events, and multiple deadlines.

Preferred: Experience in procurement, supplier diversity, workforce development, economic development, or small business programs.
