Sports Teacher

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Sports Teacher / PE Teacher to lead and manage physical education and sports activities in our institution. The ideal candidate should have expertise in a variety of sports, a strong understanding of physical fitness, and the ability to motivate students to lead healthy, active lifestyles. A commitment to student development, teamwork, and discipline is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct physical education classes and sports training sessions for students.
• Teach the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports and games.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
• Organize and supervise inter-house, inter-school, and annual sports events.
• Ensure student safety during all physical activities and use of sports equipment.
• Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper storage and usage.
• Identify and train talented students for competitive sports.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and administration to support overall student well-being.
• Encourage student participation in physical activities and healthy habits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of physical fitness principles, various sports, and coaching techniques.
• Good communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
• Ability to manage students of different age groups and skill levels.
• Commitment to student health, fitness, and character building.
• Strong organizational skills and event coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. or relevant coaching certifications.
• Experience in coaching or managing school sports teams.
• First aid and safety training certifications.
• Experience using fitness assessment tools and training software.
