About the role
A Technician/Setter role in semi-automatic machinery operations within manufacturing, responsible for equipment setup, tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform setup of fixture and tooling for product changeovers
- Conduct tuning of semi-automatic machines
- Troubleshoot machine issues
- Perform routine checks on machines, jigs, and 5R area conveyor
- Create maintenance and repair request forms for machines and jigs to maintenance and tooling departments
- Monitor availability of spare parts and production support tools
- Ensure K3 (occupational health and safety) compliance in repair activities
Qualifications:
- Minimum SMK (vocational qualification), preferably from a technical engineering stream
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Technician/Setter, preferably from manufacturing industry
- Able to set fixture and tooling assembly
- Capable of troubleshooting semi-automatic machines
- Understanding of pneumatics and sensors
