About the role

Senior Technical and Product Officer responsible for planning product orders from suppliers and own brands in coordination with all relevant teams, making marketing decisions for new products, managing stock and handling slow-moving and expired products, and liaising between suppliers, academics, advisors, product departments, and sales staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan product orders from suppliers and own brands in coordination with all relevant teams
• Assist in making marketing decisions for new products, including R&D products from BIS factory and new products from suppliers in China and Europe
• Manage stock and handle slow-moving, short shelf-life, and expired products
• Coordinate work between suppliers, academics, advisors, product departments, and sales staff
• Analyze product and service data for the company and competitors
• Gather sufficient data across various areas for client presentations
• Forecast future business trends to identify new products or services
• Report and summarize monthly work performance
• Monitor and control expenses according to job responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor according to position responsibilities

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in veterinary science, animal science, animal nursing, animal production technology, or related field
• Experience in academic knowledge related to animal health, with emphasis on livestock such as pigs, broilers, and laying hens, for at least 3–5 years
• Basic knowledge of animal nutrition
• Good English communication skills; Chinese language skills will be considered a special advantage
• Able to work well under pressure
• Able to drive and possess a valid driver's license
• Able to understand and perform work in different provinces or countries
