Qีuality Management System Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
2. Develop, review, and update quality system documentation including procedures, work instructions, manuals, and records.
3. Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits, process audits, and system audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
4. Coordinate and support external audits (customer audits, certification audits) and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
5. Monitor QMS performance indicators and prepare regular quality system reports for management review.
6. Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities, audit findings, and system gaps.
7. Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving activities related to quality system issues.
8. Ensure effective document control and record management across the organization.
9. Provide QMS-related training and awareness to employees to promote quality culture.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and processes.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Management System roles within the automotive manufacturing industry.
3. Hands-on experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance.
4. Experience supporting customer and third-party audits.
5. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
6. Good understanding of document control, audit management, and corrective action processes.
7. Familiarity with customer-specific requirements (CSR) is an advantage.
8. Ability to analyze quality system data and identify improvement opportunities.
9. Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
10. Strong communication and coordination skills.
11. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
