We are seeking a responsible, independent, and detail-oriented Account & Finance Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage full-set accounts independently with minimal supervision, handle daily revenue reconciliation, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Independently manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Handle full-set accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, outstanding payments, and collections.
• Perform daily sales reconciliation and ensure the accuracy of cash and bank transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organised accounting records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Assist with month-end closing and year-end financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with head office, external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties on accounting and financial matters.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and report significant financial issues to management.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance. Retail industry experience will be an advantage.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Able to handle full-set accounts independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Responsible, proactive, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with management and other departments.
• Willing to be based in Sabah and work on-site at the company's office.
