Job Title: Controller

Job Overview:
We are looking for a controller, to perform duties as a senior-level accounting manager who oversees daily financial operations, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting for an organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate balance sheets, income statements, and GAAP-compliant financial reports.
• Department Oversight: Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger staff.
• Internal Controls: Develop and monitor internal procedures to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in creating operating budgets, analyze variances, and monitor cash flow.
• Tax & Audits: Coordinate internal and external audits and manage local, state, and federal tax compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• Experience: Typically requires 7 to 10+ years of progressive accounting and management experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in GAAP, ERP systems (like Oracle NetSuite, SAP), and financial analytics tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually, DOE
