Design Engineer RF - Huber + Suhner AG

Your tasks

• Compliance to and support of H+S processes as well as implementation of therein prescribed or proposed methods

• Regular reporting about the activities

• Experience with 3D CAD tools for antennas design and with Product Data Management (PDM) and ERP systems, project and project management experience. Ability for in-depth theoretical work and practical implementation in the laboratory

• Antenna modelling and design

• Microwave and mm-Wave measurement technique

• Realization, integration, implementation, test and product qualification

• Support for ramp-up and pre-series production

• Close cooperation and support of process engineering to develop the manufacturing processes

• Technology ownership in the area of antennas and filters

• Technical Support of purchasing in supply chain matters

• Participation in the care and purchase of investment goods

• Participation in the preparation of manufacturing, test and quality management concepts and documentation

• Participation in the preparation of technical offers and handling of internal or external customer related orders

• Participation as well as elaboration of feasibility studies and concept studies

• The employee is responsible for his/her work in the sense of total quality management, regularly reviews the management processes and initiates potential continuous improvement activities and their implementation. All activities are aligned towards meeting the need of internal and external customers within time and budget.

  Your profile

Education and Experience

• Masters degree (ME/MTech) in RF Microwave/Electronics Communication.

• Preferably 5-6years experience in antenna/filter design testing

Preferred Skills:

Personal Qualifications:

• Familiar with electromagnetic simulation software such as HFSS, CST, MWO, etc.

• Familiar with common RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, protocol and signaling testers) and antenna chambers.

• Being innovative responsible

• Can work well with colleagues and willing to help others.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Responsible, reliable, accurate, analytical, and independent way of working.

• Proactive with the necessary interest and willingness to learn new things.

• Should be able to work in international, intercultural and cross functional teams.
