Equity Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental equity research across Hong Kong, U.S. and China A-share markets, including financial analysis, valuation modelling and investment thesis development.
• Monitor companies, industry trends, earnings announcements, macroeconomic developments and portfolio-related investment risks.
• Prepare investment research reports, financial models, investment memoranda and presentations for internal discussions.
• Support quantitative analysis, market screening, sector comparisons and thematic research, particularly in technology and growth sectors.
• Assist the investment team with public market and private market / pre-IPO investment opportunities.
• Execute assigned research and analytical tasks accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in equity research, asset management, investment analysis or related fields is preferred. Experienced professionals are welcome to apply.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities, with a solid understanding of equity markets.
• Candidates with quantitative backgrounds, including mathematics, physics, engineering, statistics or quantitative finance, are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Python, financial data analysis and effective use of AI tools or AI agents are advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Hong Kong. Candidates holding valid visas under the Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS), Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG), or other applicable work authorization are welcome to apply.
