Piping & Structural Designer

PWOG Plant Engineering is seeking a CADWorx Plant & Structure Designer with 4- 7 years of experience in 3D piping and structural modeling for Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Process Plant projects. The role involves developing plant models, extracting fabrication drawings, and coordinating with piping, stress, and structural engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D piping models using CADWorx Plant.
• Prepare main bore and small bore piping isometric drawings.
• Model and update pipe supports based on stress analysis (SSA) recommendations.
• Create structural steel models using CADWorx Structure, including platforms, walkways, base frames, and equipment support structures.
• Model cable tray supports, light poles, secondary steel, and skid structures.
• Modify piping routes, including vent lines and other process piping revisions.
• Extract General Arrangement (GA) drawings, isometrics, and drawing indexes from the 3D model.
• Perform self-QC and incorporate engineering review comments before submission.
• Coordinate with piping, structural, and stress engineers during detailed engineering.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in CADWorx Plant Professional and CADWorx Structure. experience in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD Plant 3D will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of main bore & small bore piping.
• Experience in pipe support modeling and structural steel detailing.
• Proficiency in extracting isometric, GA, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications, and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas / Process Plant design standards.
