Plumbing Draftsman/BIM Modeler

Derby Design Engineering Consultancy L.L.C. is looking for experienced and skilled Plumbing BIM Modelers (Revit) / Draughtsmen to join our engineering team in Trivandrum. The ideal candidates will have strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, with a good understanding of MEP engineering drawings and construction detailing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D MEP mainly plumbing and draingage BIM models using Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Prepare detailed MEP drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings and convert design information into accurate BIM models and 2D drawings.
• Coordinate models and drawings with other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support the engineering team in preparing construction documentation and resolving drawing-related issues.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP drafting and BIM modeling. Candidates with relevant experience in engineering consultancy or construction projects are preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings.
• Ability to develop accurate 3D models from engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and BIM coordination.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
